As an author…

I write fiction, ranging from short stories to novel length pieces and the occasional poem. These works have a large variety of genres that include fantasy, contemporary fiction, romance, and horror. However, across these genres I have a more singular focus of writing drama. I enjoy writing characters in situations where they must deal with conflict, be it from an outside source such as a scary monster, a personal source where there is conflict between characters, or even internal struggle from the characters own flaws. Life is complicated and I seek to capture that by presenting stories that can cover grand concepts or ideology all by exploring it at the micro level though character.
